The subject was located several hours later and returned home. The matter will be petitioned to juvenile court for review. 5\/14 An officer handled a private property damage accident complaint that was called in as a hit-and-run. The suspect vehicle was later located. An officer handled two criminal sexual conduct complaints. Both cases remain open at this time. 5\/15 An officer handled a dog at large complaint. An officer handled a hit-and-run accident. An officer handled a traffic complaint involving a reckless driver. An officer handled a noise complaint. 5\/16 A bicycle was turned over to the department. An officer handled a suspicious situation. Reed City 5\/11 Officers responded to a call to a residence regarding a text threat and later a\u00a0derogative phone call from a restricted number. The individual was advised on the\u00a0proper course of action. Officers responded to a local apartment complex where a tenant was upset with another\u00a0individual concerning rumors of threats and lies. The individual was advised of the\u00a0proper course of action to take while the matter is under investigation. Officers were called to assist with possible suicidal individual. The individual was\u00a0transported to Community Mental Health for treatment. 5\/12 Officer observed piles of lumber and rubbish at local residence a notice has\u00a0been given to remove the debris. Officers were requested to respond to a parole violation. The individual was located and\u00a0lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers were dispatched to a possible child abuse\/neglect complaint. Officers conducted\u00a0a joint investigation with child protective services. Officers found no evidence of abuse\u00a0or neglect and the matter was turned over to Child Protective Services. Officers were dispatched to a car\/pedestrian accident involving an individual crossing\u00a0at the crosswalk. There were no injuries. Statements were taken and the matter in under\u00a0investigation. No charges or citations are expected to be sought. 5\/13 Officers responded to residence regarding a complaint of stolen prescription\u00a0medication believed to be taken by a juvenile family member already on probation. The\u00a0matter is under investigation. Officers conducted a joint investigation with Child Protective Services in reference to\u00a0unsafe conditions for children. A voluntary removal to a family member's residence was\u00a0put into place until the investigation is completed. Officers responded to a recurring neighbor dispute. An individual was counseled on\u00a0acceptable social behavior and keeping a civil demeanor despite dislike for her neighbors. Officers were called to assist with a disorderly juvenile who was then transported to his\u00a0residence and turned over to his parents. Officers were dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle not yielding the right of way to\u00a0pedestrians. Contact was made and warnings were given. Officers assisted the Mecosta County Sheriff's Department in locating and interviewing a\u00a0person of interest in a retail fraud investigation. Officers were dispatched to a trespassing complaint. The individual reported his ex-girlfriend was on his property and refused to leave. The woman was advised that any\u00a0further trespassing may result in being arrested. 5\/14 Officers responded to an individual reporting unwanted people in the\u00a0residence. It was determined that there was no one in the residence and the individual\u00a0agreed to the possible need for evaluation and treatment for mental health reasons. 5\/15 Officers were dispatched to a local apartment complex for loud music. Contact\u00a0was made and a verbal warning was issued. Officers handled a complaint of child neglect. It was determined it was a family\u00a0disagreement between child and parent and no neglect had occurred. Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department on a traffic stop.\u00a0Due to numerous occupants in the car, officers stood by for officer safety. 5\/16 Officers were requested to assist the Michigan State Police with contacting a\u00a0possible suicidal individual. The individual was later located at a family member's\u00a0residence. Officers handled a minor two-car property damage accident in the hospital parking lot.\u00a0One car was parked at the time and there were no injuries. 5\/17 Officers were dispatched a complaint of loud music in the 800 Block of South Mill Street.\u00a0Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate any loud music. While on patrol, officers observed two juvenile males take off running upon seeing the\u00a0patrol car. After a search of the area officers were not able to locate the males and it is\u00a0unknown why they ran. Officers were dispatched to the hospital for an unruly patient. Officers calmed the\u00a0individual and assisted in contacting family for a ride home. Officers were dispatched to an area check for lights shining in the window of a residence.\u00a0Officers responded and were unable to locate any shining lights or suspicious activity. During this past week, in an effort to gain compliance and increase awareness, officers\u00a0issued verbal warnings at more than 100 residences due to trash and yard waste being\u00a0improperly handled or disposed of.
