● An officer was dispatched to a residence for a disorderly conduct complaint.  Upon arriving on scene the officer determined an assault had occurred, and the suspect was arrested for domestic assault and probation violations.

● While on patrol an officer observed 11 separate junk and blight violations.  The property owners were issued violation notices and given 10 days to bring their property into compliance.

● An officer was dispatched to a location outside of the city to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a security alarm.  Officers determined the building was secure and cleared the scene without incident.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a traffic complaint.  Upon arriving the officer was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

● An officer was dispatched to a business outside of the city to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a security alarm.  The building was determined to be secure and the officer cleared the scene without incident.

● An officer was dispatched to the Evart Elementary School for a complaint of a disorderly student.  Upon arriving on scene the student had left the building.  The officer documented the incident and cleared the scene.

● An officer was requested to provide a police escort to a resident walking to their vehicle after dark.

● While performing a traffic stop, an officer cited the driver with a misdemeanor offense for driving with a suspended license.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to apprehend an individual with outstanding warrants.  The officer made contact with the individual who was subsequently arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist the Michigan State Police with an assault complaint.  The officer remained on-scene until State Troopers arrived.  The suspect was arrested for assault and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● While on patrol an officer observed a horse running on S. Main St. With assistance from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department the animal was detained.  The owner was identified and cited for an animal at large.

● Officers were called to the hospital for a larceny of money complaint.  It was determined that the complainant had dementia and the complaint was unfounded.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol.  The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers were called to an apartment for a loud music complaint.  The resident was given a warning and officers departed the scene.  A short time later the complainant called back stating the subject turned the music back up once officers left.  Officers responded back to the scene and the subject was given an appearance citation.

● Officers doing property checks found an open door to a business.  The building was searched and found to be secure.  The property owner was notified.

● Officers were called to a two vehicle personal injury crash at the intersection of W Stimson Ave at N Higbee St.  There were minor injuries and moderate damage.  Both drivers were taken to Spectrum Health via Osceola County EMS.  A report was completed.

● Officers responded to a residence on S Patterson Rd for a Breaking and Entering complaint.  The complainant reported that someone broke into her house and stole numerous items while she was gone.  A report was completed and the matter is under investigation.

● Officers were called to a residence for a felonious assault complaint.  The complainant reported that he allowed his nephew to stay at his home and his nephew pulled a knife on another family member.  A report was completed and submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

● Officers responded to a residence for a harassment complaint.  The complainant reported that they were being harassed and threatened by at subject at a business.  A report was completed and the matter is under investigation.

● Officers were called to a residence for a civil complaint.  The parties were provided with a course of action as the matter was not criminal in nature.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license.  The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that one of the passengers inside the vehicle was underage and was intoxicated.  The subject was given an appearance citation at the scene and released.

● Officers issued a trash abatement to a resident that had a pile of trash at the curb in black bags.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

● Officers issued a vehicle abatement to a resident for an unregistered vehicle being parked on the property.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.

● Officers on patrol located an open door at a business.  The business was checked and found to be secure.  The property owner was notified.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license and also had an outstanding warrant out of Mecosta County.  The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.  The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated second offense and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.
