● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a larceny complaint. The officer made contact with the complainant who indicated someone had gained entry into the home using a spare key left outside. The case is inactive at this time.

● An officer responded to the Evart High School to assist school personnel with a K-9 search.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a complaint of an ORV driving on the street and on the Rails to Trails. The officer made contact with the driver and advised them of the city’s ORV Ordinance.

● An officer was dispatched to Cedar Street in reference to an animal at large complaint. The officer located the dog and transported it to the Osceola County Animal Shelter. The owner was later identified and cited for an ordinance violation.

● While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle with a defective headlight. The officer initiated a traffic stop, and subsequently the driver was issued a misdemeanor citation for an improper license plate and no insurance.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a juvenile domestic assault complaint. The officer made contact with the parties involved; as a result the juvenile was transported to Probate Court and ultimately to a youth home.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence for a domestic disturbance. The officer remained on scene until the parties involved reached a mutual agreement.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a noise complaint. The officer made contact with the resident, and advised them of the complaint. The subject agreed to keep noise to a minimum.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist Osceola EMS with a medical call.

● While on patrol an officer observed two dogs at large. The officer was able to identify the owner and returned the dogs to the residence.

● While making a traffic stop, an officer identified an individual with an outstanding warrant for arrest. The individual was arrested and turned over to the Mt. Pleasant Tribal Police.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a dog at large complaint. The officer was able to locate the dog and returned it to the proper residence. The case is open pending contact with the owner.

● An officer was dispatched to a location outside of the city to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with an assault complaint.

● While on patrol an officer observed significant property destruction to the facilities at Riverside Park West. The case is open pending further investigation

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle with an improper license plate. The driver was given an appearance citation at the scene and released.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle on a suspended license and had a felony warrant out of Gladwin for Operating While Intoxicated. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers issued a resident a trash abatement notice. The owner has the allotted time to clean up the trash or further enforcement action will be taken.

● Officers responded to a found property complaint. The person involved found a debit card at an ATM. The owner has been identified.

● Officers were called for an area check for a complaint of children on the roof of a business. Officers checked the area and the complaint was unfounded.

● Officers located a subject at his residence that had an outstanding warrant for burglary. The subject was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license. The driver was given an appearance citation at the scene and released.

● Officers were called to the hospital to assist with a mental subject that was trying to leave. Officers assisted and the scene and the complaint was turned over to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver was operating while intoxicated and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. The driver was arrested on Operating While Intoxicated second offense and transporting an open container of alcohol. The driver was lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers located two juveniles in violation of the curfew ordinance. The children were given a verbal warning and returned home.

● Officers responded to the Genesee County Jail to pickup a subject on a Reed City warrant for Contempt of Court. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.
