● An officer was dispatched to the Evart Elementary School to assist school officials with an unruly student.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to a harassment complaint.  The officer made contact with the individuals involved and advised both parties to cease contact with one another.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence regarding a trespassing complaint.  The officer made contact with the complainant who indicated the suspect had left the property before the officer arrived. The officer cleared the scene without incident.

● An officer assisted a citizen with a complaint of an individual using excessive profanity at the Evart Elementary School.  The officer made contact with the subject and advised the subject that further profanity on school property would not be tolerated.

● An officer responded to a residence in reference to a personal protection order violation.  Upon arriving on-scene the officer made contact with an individual who had a warrant for arrest.  The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist Child Protective Services with a child welfare check.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department with a court-ordered protective custody transport.

● An officer assisted a local business in reference to a bad-check complaint.

● An officer responded to a residence in reference to a harassment complaint.  The officer made contact with the complainant. The case is still open pending contact with the suspect.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence regarding a harassment complaint.  The case is open pending contact with the suspect.

● An officer performed a traffic stop for a suspected OWI.  Upon making contact with the driver, the officer determined the suspect to be intoxicated.  The suspect was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● An officer was dispatched to a residence to serve a warrant for arrest.  The officer made contact with the subject who was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.

● Officers responded to a residence for a fraud complaint.  The complainant reported that she was filing her tax return and found out that another person had already filed a fraudulent tax return using her social security number.  A report was completed and the matter is under investigation.

● Officers were called to a residence for a civil dispute over a lease agreement.  Officers provided the subjects with a course of action.

● Officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance complaint that occurred earlier in the day.  The complainant reported that his ex-wife came to his residence, began to argue with him and then assaulted him.  A report was completed and the matter was unfounded.

● Officers were called to a residence for a civil matter.  The complainant reported that he had been locked out of his deceased grandmother’s residence.  The locks had been changed by the Law Office that was handling the estate.  The subject was provided with a course of action.

● Officers handled a walk in fraud complaint.  The complainant reported that someone in Wisconsin was using her social security number for employment.  A report was completed and the matter is under investigation.

● Officers were called to a residence for a larceny of prescription medications complaint.  The complainant reported that a guest at his home had stolen some medications.  The complaint was unfounded.

● Officers located a subject at his residence that had an outstanding warrant for possession of cocaine and maintaining a drug house.  The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.  While at the jail officers found two loose pills in the suspects pocket that were believed to be morphine.  Additional charges are being sought with the Prosecutors Office.

● Officers assisted with a disruptive student at the school.

● Officers assisted Child Protective Services with doing a home inspection at a residence.

● Officers were called to an apartment complex for a subject refusing to leave an apartment.  Officers arrived on scene and found that the subject was intoxicated and in violation of his probation conditions.  The subject was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers were called to the school to talk to a student about stealing and his behavior.

● Officers responded to a business for a parking complaint.  The property owner advised that there was a vehicle blocking the dumpster.  The vehicle owner was identified and the vehicle was removed.

● Officers were called to a trailer park for a loud music complaint.  The subject was located and given a citation.

● Officers responded to an apartment complex for a report domestic.  Officers arrived on scene to find that it was a verbal argument only.  The subjects were given a warning.

● Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  It was discovered that the driver was operating without a license.  The subject was lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

● Officers responded to a residence for an assault complaint.  The matter is under investigation.

● Officers received a report of a subject in violation of his bond conditional release order.  The complaint was investigated and was unfounded.

● Officers received a missing person complaint for an elderly gentleman.  The complainant stated that the subject should have been home from his trip hours ago and no one has heard from him.  Officers were checking the subject’s residence when he returned home.

● Officers were called to an apartment complex for a larceny of medication complaint.  The complainant reported that someone had stolen a pain patch from her.  The suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation.

● Officers did a check well being on juvenile children at a residence for Child Protective Services.  There were no violations.

● Officers were called to a residence for a 911 hang up call.  It was determined that someone accidentally dialed 911 when the phone was in their pocket.

● Officers handled a malicious destruction of property complaint.  The complainant reported that his grandson had smash his vehicle with a shovel.  It was discovered that the incident occurred in Lake County.  The complaint was turned over to Lake County Deputies.

● Officers assisted EMS at a residence in the city.

● Officers responded to a barking dog complaint at a residence in the city.  Upon arrival the dog had stopped barking.  The dog owner was advised of the city ordinances pertaining to dogs within the city.

● Officers received information that a girl in town may have possession of a dog that was missing.  Officers made contact with the subject and the dog was not the dog that was missing.

● Officers issued a vehicle abatement to the owner of a vehicle in the city that was unregistered.  The owner has the allotted time to correct the violation or further enforcement action will be taken.
