A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Lincoln Township for an equipment violation. Through investigation it was discovered that thedriver was operating their vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Osceola and Sylvan townships.

Deputies responded to a Middle Branch Township home, as credible information was received that a subject with a valid Mecosta County warrant, was residing within the home. Upon arrival, the deputies attempted to make contact with the occupants, however were unsuccessful. The deputies then received consent to enter the home, and soon found the wanted subject attempting to hide by hanging onto a floor joist, between levels of the residence. The subject was immediately taken into custody and was turned over to Mecosta County deputies without incident.

Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Middle Branch and Marion townships.

Deputies were dispatched to the village of Hersey on the report of a suspicious male subject, who was covered in blood, and was walking through yards. Upon arrival the male subject was located, identified and it was discovered that he had a valid Mecosta County warrant issued for his arrest. It was further discovered that the male subject was possibly involved in an altercation, but due to his failure to cooperate with this investigation, no further information was obtained. The subject was then arrested and turned over to Mecosta County deputies without incident.

A deputy was dispatched to Lincoln Township on the report of a single vehicle crash. Through investigation it was discovered that an Illinois driver was taking a drink of tea when he drove off the roadway and had a collision with three large pine trees. The driver was cited for this incident and the deputy cleared the scene once his assistance was no longer needed.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Marion Township for an equipment violation. Through investigation it was discovered that the driver and lone occupant had a valid Missaukee County warrant issued for their arrest. The subject was then arrested and turned over to Missaukee County deputies without incident.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Highland Township for an obstructed plate violation. Through investigation it was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, no insurance and an improper registration plate. The driver was then arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes which occurred within Richmond and Middle Branch townships.

The Sheriff conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Leroy Township for a speeding infraction. Through investigation it was discovered that the driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The driver was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies responded to residences within Evart, Osceola and Cedar townships and arrested three subjects on the strength of valid Osceola County warrants. All subjects were secured and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a Marion Township home on the report of a domestic assault complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured, and through investigation, it was discovered that an assault did occur between two subjects involved in a domestic relationship. At that time the aggressor was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Reed City

Officers were called to the cemetery in reference to an unknown off-road vehicle, doing donuts in the parking lot and being operated in a reckless manner. Officers located a 16-year-old male operating a garden tractor. Operation of an off-road vehicle on cemetery grounds is a misdemeanor. The male was given a warning and turned over to his parents.

Officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The resulting investigation revealed a 24-year-old female driver was driving without a license. The driver was released with an appearance citation and the vehicle was towed.

Officers were dispatched to a dog running loose. Upon arrival the dog was not able to be located.

Officers were requested to assist the Michigan State Police with a suicidal individual. The individual was threatening harm to the officers and medical staff. Officers assisted without incident.

Officers were called to a suspicious vehicle near an apartment complex. The vehicle was determined to be broken down and the owner was making arrangements to remove the vehicle for repair.

Officers stopped a vehicle for weaving within the lane suspecting an intoxicated driver. The driver was found to be ill and family was contacted to take the vehicle and driver home.

Officers were requested to respond for a broken rear windshield. Upon further investigation, it is believed to have broken as a result in a change in temperatures and weather.

Officers observed an individual driving a vehicle known to have several outstanding warrants. Upon stopping the vehicle an investigation resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old male on three outstanding warrants and a 34-year-old female on two outstanding warrants.

Officers responded to speak with a local resident about several suspicious locations on his property, where it appeared a campfire had been set. The resulting investigation pointed officers toward a juvenile male in the neighborhood. The matter is under investigation.

Officers observed a 25-year-old male operating an ATV within the city limits. Upon stopping the ATV it was discovered the male had an outstanding warrant from a neighboring county. The male was lodged on the warrant without incident.

Officers were called to a local business for an open door after hours. The building was searched and secured without incident.

Officers assisted the Michigan State Police in an incident where a male, who was believed to be under the influence, had fled from them on foot. The individual was located.

An officer was dispatched to an open door at a local business. The key holder was contacted and responded to the building to secure it.

An officer was dispatched to assist the Osceola County Sheriff's Department with a search of a subject who had fled the scene of a traffic stop.
