Reed City 3\/16 Officers were called to a local business for a male attempting to get into an employee\u00a0vehicle. It was discovered the male owned a similar vehicle and mistakenly tried to enter the\u00a0employee vehicle. 3\/17 Officers were requested to check the well-being of a family member. The family stated\u00a0they were unable to get a hold of the male. Officers verified that he was in fact well. Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic assault in progress. Both parties denied any\u00a0assault had taken place. The investigation following resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old male for\u00a0disorderly conduct and a 22-year-old female for violating her probation conditions by consuming\u00a0alcohol. Both were lodged at the Osceola County Jail and the matter is pending prosecution. Officers were called to domestic assault in progress. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old male. The matter is pending in court. 3\/18 Officers responded to a two-car property damage accident. No injuries were reported. Officers responded to a local residence in reference to possible illegal drug paraphernalia. The\u00a0matter is under investigation. 3\/19 Officers assisted the Reed City Fire Department prior to their arrival with a grass fire.\u00a0The cause of the fire is unknown. It is not believed to be suspicious at this time. 3\/20 Officers responded to the Wesco for failure to pay for fuel. It was determined, and\u00a0verified by surveillance video, the individual forgot to pay due to being engaged in a lengthy\u00a0conversation with a friend. The fuel was paid for and the matter is closed. Officers investigated a complaint involving a registered sex offender possibly living within a\u00a0distance to school property that is prohibited by law. Preliminary investigation does not support this,\u00a0however the matter is under investigation. Officers assisted the Michigan State Police in locating and detaining a vehicle with a suspected\u00a0intoxicated driver. The driver had reportedly been involved in a property damage accident in\u00a0Lake County and left the scene of the accident. The investigation was turned over due to multiple\u00a0jurisdictions. 3\/21 Officers responded to a local residence for a possible suicidal subject. Assistance was\u00a0given to the individual. Officers stopped a vehicle for erratic driving. The investigation that followed led to the arrest of\u00a0the 18-year-old male driver for Operating While Intoxicated and Transporting Open Alcohol in a\u00a0Motor Vehicle. An 18-year-old male passenger and a 20-year-old female passenger were both issued\u00a0appearance citations for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. 3\/12 Officers stopped a vehicle for exceeding the posted speed limit. It was discovered the\u00a035-year-old male driver had an outstanding warrant from a nearby county. The male was cited for\u00a0speeding and lodged at the Osceola County Jail pending pick up from the nearby county. Evart 3\/15 An officer was dispatched to harassment complaint from online messaging, the complainant was advised to block the offending party. 3\/16 An officer was dispatched to a malicious destruction of property complaint. The investigation is ongoing. An officer was dispatched to a retail fraud complaint at a local business. The investigation is ongoing. An officer assisted the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Office in apprehending a wanted subject hiding in a residence. An officer was dispatched to a verbal altercation. The incident was investigated and the parties were advised to avoid further contact. 3\/18 An officer was dispatched to a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing. 03\/19 An officer was dispatched to a civil complaint. The parties were advised to consult with an attorney. 03\/20 An officer was dispatched to a suicidal subject who was transported by ambulance to the hospital to receive treatment. An officer was dispatched to a threat complaint between two neighbors. Subjects were advised to avoid further contact. An officer was dispatched to a noise complaint that two male residents were fighting next door to the complainant. It was found that it was just children playing loudly. 3\/21 An officer was dispatched to a malicious destruction of property. The investigation is ongoing.\u00a0Two pieces of property were found and turned over to the department to attempt to locate the owner. An officer assisted the Michigan State Police with a dog bite complaint \u2013 the animal was transported to animal control. An officer was dispatched to assist with a natural death complaint.
