Deputies were dispatched to an Evart home on the report of a possible attempted suicide complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured and through investigation it was discovered that the subject in question was a danger to themselves and others. The subject was taken into protective custody and was transported to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital for a mental evaluation.

Deputies investigated three vehicle crashes, which occurred within Osceola, Sherman and Lincoln townships.

A sergeant was dispatched to a Highland Township home on the report of a threats complaint. Upon arrival it was discovered that the victim was receiving threats from a known subject, as an argument had ensured over a female party. The sergeant made contact with the suspect in this case, who agreed to stop making threats to the victim.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Richmond Township for driving left of the center line. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was driving their vehicle while under the influence of drugs. The operator was then arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to an Evart business on the report of an audible alarm complaint. Upon arrival the building and surroundings were checked and everything was found to be secured.

Deputies were dispatched to a Burdell Township home on the report of an attempted suicide complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured and through investigation it was determined that said subject was a danger to themselves, and was in violation of the conditions of their probation. The subject was taken into protective custody and was transported to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital for a mental evaluation. The report was forwarded to their probation officer.

A sergeant conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Middle Branch Township for driving left of the center line. Through investigation it was discovered that said driver was operating their vehicle while intoxicated. The subject was arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies investigated four vehicle crashes which occurred within Sherman, Middle Branch, Burdell and Hersey townships.

Officers assisted Florida Seminole County Police in an attempt to locate a wanted juvenile believed to be in this area. The juvenile was not located.

Officers located a runaway male and returned him to his residence.

Officers were dispatched to a local residence in reference to an assault. A 63-year-old woman was lodged in the Osceola County Jail without further incident. The matter is pending in court.

Officers responded to an assault complaint at the elementary school. Due to the child's age, the matter is being handled within the school.

Officers were responded to the larceny of cash at the high school. The victim did not press charges and disciplinary measures are being taken by the school.

Officers assisted the school with a random check for controlled substances. Assisting K9 units included the Osceola County Sheriff Department, Cadillac Police Department, Benzie County Sheriff Department and Evart Police Department. No controlled substances were located.

Officers received a complaint of a truant student. The matter is under investigation.

Officers were requested to assist the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety in locating a suspect who had reportedly stolen merchandise from a store. The suspect was caught on store surveillance video. Officers attempted contact and were later advised the suspect had been located in Big Rapids.

Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival officers spoke with an individual who advised he was suffering from severe pain. Assistance was given and an ambulance was called for the individual.

Officers received a complaint of a woman being plagued by telemarketing calls. Officers provided the proper course of action and methods to prevent further calls.

Officers were requested to respond to the elementary school in reference to an upset parent. The parent departed without incident.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a car and school bus. The school bus did not have passengers at the time of the accident. Two individuals from the car had minor injuries.

Officers were called to a possible fight. Further investigation revealed it was a verbal dispute between family members. Verbal warnings were issued and parties were advised to separate.

Officers assisted the Michigan State Police with traffic control at an accident with injuries. Specific details are not available.

Officers received a complaint of snowmobiles riding through a local yard. The matter is under investigation. City Ordinance allows snowmobiles to be operated on right hand side of the street and limits operation to the most direct route to and from the trail.

Officers were requested to assist Child Protective Services in contacting an individual. Assistance was given without incident.
