Deputies were dispatched to a residence within the Village of Marion on the report of a domestic assault complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured and the suspect barricaded himself within the residence, however after a short period of unsuccessful negations the suspect freely exited the residence and was taken into custody. Through investigation it was determined that the victim was assaulted with an edged weapon and a firearm. The suspect is lodged at the Osceola County Jail on felony charges.

Deputies were dispatched to an Evart City business, on the report of an active audible alarm complaint. Upon arrival the deputies checked the building and found everything to be secure.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Richmond Township for failing to stop at a signed intersection. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator and lone occupant had a valid Mecosta County warrant issued for their arrest. The subject was then arrested and turned over to Mecosta County deputies without incident.

A deputy was dispatched to a LeRoy Township school on the report of two students possibly possessing alcohol on school property. Upon arrival the deputy confirmed the suspicions and completed his investigation. At that time both students were cited into probate court in regards to this incident.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Richmond Township for driving left of the center line. Through investigation it was discovered that the driver and passenger within the vehicle both possessed suspected marijuana. At that time both subjects were arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within Hartwick Township for operating without a registration plate. Through investigation it was further discovered that the operator was also operating the vehicle without insurance. The operator was then issued two misdemeanor citations for this offence and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Deputies were dispatched to a Marion Village business on the report of an active entry alarm complaint. Upon arrival the building was checked and everything was found to be secure.

Deputies investigated four vehicle crashes which occurred within Marion, Orient, Middle Branch and Sherman townships.

Deputies were dispatched to a Marion Village home on the report of an attempted suicide complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured and through investigation it was discovered that the subject in question was a danger to themselves and others. The subject was then taken into protective custody and was transported to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital for a mental evaluation.

Deputies assisted parole agents of the Department of Corrections with the inspection of a Richmond Township home. Through investigation a suspected marijuana grow operation along with other suspected narcotics and paraphernalia was located. One subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail and charges are being sought on other residents.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within the City of Evart for failing to yield at a signed intersection. Through investigation it was discovered that the driver provided a false name to the deputy and did not possess any type of identification. The driver was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail where further investigation revealed the subject's real name, and that the subject was a registered sex offender who was in violation of their reporting requirements, and had valid extraditable warrants out of Texas, that were issued for their arrest.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle within LeRoy Township for a speeding infraction. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was driving the vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes which occurred within Evart and Highland townships.
