Reed City Police 10\/14 Officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash on West Upton Avenue near Park Street. There were no injuries and only minor damage. The at fault driver was cited for failing to yield and was given an appearance citation for operating without insurance and released. Officers responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash on South Chestnut Street near Slosson Avenue. There was moderate damage and minor injuries to the driver of one of the vehicles. The at fault driver was cited for failing to stop in a safe and assured distance. 10\/15 Officers removed a street obstruction from East Church Street. A set of tires were placed in the roadway. The tires were removed and disposed of. Officers responded to a residence for a breaking and entering complaint. It was discovered that the complainant\u2019s friend had forgotten her cell phone inside the residence and entered through a window to retrieve it. The matter was unfounded. Officers were called to the parking lot of a business for a two-vehicle traffic crash. There was moderate damage and minor injuries to one of the drivers. A report was completed. 10\/16 Officers located a subject at his residence and served him with a no trespass notice ordering him not to enter upon the complainant\u2019s property. Officers handled a disorderly student complaint at the school. The parents of the student were contacted and the matter is being handled by school officials. Officers responded to the school for a threats complaint. The complainant stated he was walking home from school and was threatened by an unknown individual. A report was completed and officers are doing additional patrols in the area. Officers located a subject who was hitchhiking on South Chestnut Street. Officers identified the subject and he was given a warning. Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle on North Patterson Road near the Pere Marquette Trail. 10\/17 Officers performed a vehicle identification number safety inspection on a vehicle at a businesses requested. Officers picked up a subject from the Mecosta County Jail that had an outstanding warrant for violation of bond conditions. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail and was lodged without incident. Officers responded to a trailer park for a trespassing complaint. The landlord advised that a subject was residing on the property and was not on the lease. The subject left the property without incident. Officers picked up a subject from the Oceana County Jail that had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. The subject was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail and was lodged without incident. Officers responded to the hospital for a found bike complaint. The bike was taken into custody until claimed by the owner. 10\/18 Officers were called to a business for an alarm. Upon arrival the building was checked and found to be secure. The property owner was notified. Officers responded to U.S. 131 for a car\/deer traffic accident. There were no injuries and moderate damage. A report was completed. Officers were called to a residence for a noise complaint. It was determined that someone had fallen in the home and was trying to get help from another person in the residence. The complaint was unfounded. Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the passenger of the vehicle was on probation and was intoxicated which was a violation of his probation conditions. The passenger was arrested for probation violation and was lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident. Officers responded to South Chestnut Street for a report of a suicidal subject that had cut his wrists. The subject was located and Osceola County EMS was called to the scene. The subject was transported to the hospital for treatment. 10\/19 Officers were called for a well being check on a possible suicidal subject. Officers located the subject and determined that the subject was not suicidal and everything was OK. Officers responded to a trailer park for a hit and run private property damage accident. The suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation. Officers located a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a business that was closed. Upon making contact with the occupant it was determined that she was suicidal and had attempted to overdose on medications. The subject was transported to the hospital for an evaluation. Officers were requested to respond to a residence in Evart for a domestic disturbance call due to no other units being available. It was determined that the suspect had assaulted his former girlfriend. The suspect was arrested and lodged in the Osceola County Jail without incident. 10\/20 Officers were called for a barking dog complaint. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate a barking dog.
