Officers responded to an alarm at a business. Upon arrival the building was found to be secure and the alarm was determined to be false. The property owner was notified.

Officers were called to an apartment complex for an unlawful use of a credit card complaint. Officers met with the victim and the complaint was unfounded.

Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department in looking for a man walking in the roadway near 200th Avenue and 2 Mile Road. Officers located the subject who was intoxicated. The subject was given a warning.

Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the driver had an outstanding felony warrant out of the Muskegon Police Department. The driver was arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Officers responded to a residence on Durham Street for a possible prowler complaint. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the subject.

Officers were requested to assist the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department by responding to a single vehicle traffic crash on Old 131 near 7 Mile Road. Officers arrived on scene and there were no injuries and moderate damage to the vehicle. A report was completed.

Officers assisted a stranded motorist on U.S. 10.

Officers were called to a residence to verify that items purchased were not stolen property. The items were checked and it was determined that the items were not stolen.

Officers were called for a possible intoxicated subject walking in the roadway on South Roth Street. Officers located the subject and checked his well being. The subject was almost home and was told to stay out of the roadway.

Officers were called to a residence for a civil complaint. The complainant stated she was at a friend’s house and left her false teeth there and now they were refusing to give them back. Officers made contact with the subjects and were able to obtain the false teeth.

Officers were called to a residence for a possible breaking and entering of a storage shed. Officers arrived on scene and no items were stolen. It was determined that the door was sticking due to cold weather. The complaint was unfounded.

Officers responded to a business for an unknown alarm sounding. Officers arrived on scene to find that it was the fire alarm that had been activated and officers called the Fire Department to the scene. The building was checked and the alarm was determined to be false.

Officers were called to a business for a security alarm. Officers arrived on scene and found the building to be secure. The property owner was notified.

Officers responded to a business for a larceny of a wallet complaint. The victim had his wallet stolen from his vehicle and the wallet was found by a store employee in the bathroom with all the money missing. The matter is under further investigation.

A deputy was dispatched to an Evart City home on the report of a larceny of a quad complaint. Upon arrival the Deputy discovered that someone had taken the '90s yellow Bombardier 650 DS racing quad from the complaintant's garage. This case is still open pending further investigation.

Deputies investigated 2 vehicle crashes, which occurred within Lincoln and Hersey Townships.

Deputies assisted Officers from the Evart Police Department with a possible barricade subject complaint. The assist was completed without incident, and the Deputies returned to patrol within the county after their assistance was no longer needed.

Deputies were dispatched to a Sylvan Township home on the report of a suspicious complaint, as the complaint could see a light on in their neighbor’s deer blind. Upon arrival the blind was checked and everything was found to be secure with no suspicious activity located.

A sergeant was dispatched to a Sylvan Township home on the report of a larceny complaint. Upon arrival it was discovered that someone entered the complaint’s home and took a cross bow and a container containing a larger quantity of quarters. The sergeant completed his investigation and cleared the scene once his assistance was not longer needed. This case is open pending contact with the suspect in this case.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop within the Village of Leroy for a speeding infraction. Through investigation it was determined that said operator was driving their vehicle while intoxicated (first offence). The driver was then arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.

Deputies investigated two vehicle crashes, which occurred within Highland and Lincoln Townships.

Deputies were dispatched to an Evart Township home on the report of a possible domestic assault complaint. Upon arrival the scene was secured, and through investigation it was discovered that an assault did occur between two subjects involved in a domestic relationship. At that time one subject was arrested for violating their probation and providing alcohol to minors. That subject was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident, while charges are being sought on the second party for the domestic assault.

Deputies were dispatched to a Cedar Township home on the report of a possible domestic assault. Upon arrival the scene was secured, and through investigation it was discovered that an elderly male subject suffering from potential Alzheimer’s, had assaulted members of his house hold with a cane. Eventually the elderly subject was taken to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital for a mental evaluation and was later transported to a Kent County Mental Hospital for treatment.

Deputies investigated four vehicle crashes, which occurred within Hersey, Evart and Richmond Townships.

A deputy investigated a larceny of gasoline complaint, which occurred at a Burdell Township business. Through investigation it was discovered that a gray colored Kia type passenger vehicle, with dark tinted windows, pulled up to the pumps and left without paying for their fuel. The Deputy completed his investigation and cleared the scene once his assistance was no longer needed.

Through investigation it was discovered that the operator was operating their vehicle without valid insurance, and was also in possession of suspected marijuana. The driver was then arrested and was transported to the Osceola County Jail without incident.
