Driver airlifted after Osceola County crash
SHERMAN TWP. — A driver was airlifted to Grand Rapids for medical treatment after a rollover accident on Monday in Osceola County.
Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the single vehicle rollover accident around 6:24 p.m. on 130th Avenue near 22 Mile Road in Sherman Township. The accident occurred when the driver lost control and overturned several times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was later airlifted to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Alcohol and speed appear to be a factor in the crash. The driver was not wearing a seat belt. The crash remains under investigation by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The Evart Police Department, Tustin Rescue and Osceola County EMS assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
