REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. Not all cases are reported.

• Vernon Leonard Powell, 21, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence and one count of malicious destruction of property, in this case a laptop. He was sentenced to time served, but ordered to complete an Alternatives to Violence program. He will be on probation for 18 months.

• Anthony Gene Scharrer, 47, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct - jostling and was sentenced to time served.

• Jacob Benjamin Underhill, 18, of Evart, pleaded guilty to a malicious destruction of property, in this case someone’s tires. He was sentenced to time served, but must complete an anger management program. He will be on probation for one year.

• Jessica Shane Russell, 25, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct - public disturbance and was sentenced to time served.

• John Blanchard Charles, 30, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to five days in jail with one day credit, but given the option to complete 32 hours of community service in lieu of jail time. He will be on probation for six months and must complete a drug and alcohol education program.

• Robin Renee Lopez, 42, of Mount Pleasant, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana and one count of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired. She was sentenced to five days in jail with one day credit, but given the option to complete 32 hours of community service in lieu of jail time. She will be on probation for one year and must complete an outpatient rehabilitation program.

• Elijah Virgil Blain, 34, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while impaired. He was sentenced to three days in jail with one day credit and will be on probation for six months.

• Randy Dale Maes, 48, of McBain, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired. He was sentenced to three days in jail with one day credit, but given the option to complete 16 hours of community service in lieu of jail time.

• Jess Curtis Rongey, 29, of Tustin, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct - jostling and was sentenced to time served.

• Dustin Cash McCall, 23, of Edmore, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct - jostling. He was sentenced to time served, but must complete an anger management program. He will be on probation for one year.

• Natali Kathleen Kuhn, 23, of Traverse City, pleaded guilty to two counts of writing checks with non-sufficient funds and one count of not possessing a valid driver’s license. She was sentenced to time served, but must complete an outpatient rehabilitation program. She will be on probation for one year.

• Sharan Beatrice-Ululani Albert, 62, of Chase, pleaded guilty to disorderly conducting - fighting in public. She was sentenced to time served.

• James Richard Blake, 21, of Barryton, pleaded guilty to third-degree retail fraud at Wesco. He was sentenced to time served, but was ordered to complete 24 hours of community service in lieu of jail time. He will be on probation for one year.

• Stephanie Marie McKinney, 25, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to loud music - amplified. She was sentenced to time served.

• Patricia Ann Adkins, 49, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to time served. She was ordered to continue with her current outpatient mental health care and will be on probation for one year.

• Danny Lee Geib, 23, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to two counts of furnishing alcohol to minors and one count of excessive noise. He was sentenced to time served, but must complete 40 hours of community service as part of his sentence and submit to an alcohol assessment within the next 14 days. He will be on probation for the first two counts for one year.
