COURT REPORT: The 49th Circuit Court — Osceola County
REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 49th Circuit Court. Not all cases are reported.
• Colby Alan Rawson, 43, of Marion, was given an 11-month delay of sentence to allow him time to make the child support payments on which he was delinquent. His case is set for review in June 2012.
• Brandon Michael Long, 20, of Evart, pleaded guilty to larceny of prescription drugs from inside a building and illegal use of the Schedule 5 drug Lyrica, which is used by patients with seizures and fibromyalgia. He was sentenced to five months jail with 109 days credit. His license will be suspended and he will be on probation for one year.
• Barry James Catlin Jr., 45, of Hersey, pleaded guilt to failing to comply with the Michigan Sex Offenders Registry Act, which was a violation of his probation. He was sentenced to one year in jail with 307 days credit and the remainder of his probation was revoked.
• Malissa Ann Mobley, 40, of Evart, pleaded guilty to harboring felons. She was given a one-year delay of sentence, but must complete 60 hours of community service. Her case will be reviewed in 10 months.
