Breaking and entering reported in Lincoln Township

LINCOLN TWP. — A Tuesday morning break-in in Lincoln Township is under investigation by the Osceola County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded at 4:10 a.m. to a residence in Lincoln Township for a reported breaking and entering in progress.

The homeowner arrived at their residence and observed a taller white man in the enclosed porch area of the home. The man fled the residence and got into the passenger seat of a green Pontiac Grand Am, which was parked a short distance from the scene. The vehicle fled east.

The car has a “fin” on the trunk lid and a “Ram Air” sticker on the driver’s side, police said.

There was no description available for the driver. Further investigation revealed that property was taken from the garage area and placed at an entry/exit door. Nothing was found to be missing from the home.
