National Stress Awareness Day is November 3, and with it comes various ways to relieve the stress of every day life.
Reading a book, going for a walk and meditating all seem to be the usual or expected stress relievers heard commonly, however, there are some different ways to go about decompressing.
The University of Kansas put an entire wellness list out for "weird breaks" one can take to change things up in their de-stressing efforts. Some you might want to be careful with, as you don't want to get in trouble. Yet others might be worth a try.

1. Pluck one leaf from a tree for every person you work with.

2. Spin in your chair until your momentum brings you to a stop.

3. Stand on one leg where people can see you and just breathe.

4. Laugh really hard at a joke that is only mildly funny.

5. Ask a co-worker if they could talk to someone about their stress, living or dead, who would it be.
