REED CITY -- West Michigan Credit Union hosted a ribbon cutting at its new location, 4795 220th Ave., Reed City, on Dec. 18. "Our grand opening went wonderfully with the help of Kim O'Neil and the Chamber," communications manager Michelle Koziel said. " We had so many members comment on how excited they are to have a drive-thru and more hours." The new location officially opened for business Dec. 9. "This new location will be good for our customers with extended hours and the addition of the drive through," branch manager Carrie Heyd said. The new facility offers extended drive up hours Friday evening and Saturday morning. The former location, in the Vic's shopping center since 2004, is now closed. "This new location is a wonderful addition to the Credit Union," Heyd said. Opening of the new location added three local jobs, two full-time and one part-time, she said. Business hours for the new location are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drive up hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
