EVART\u00a0-\u00a0Wayne Eugene Burson, 84, of Evart, passed away peacefully surrounded\u00a0by his family on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center\u00a0in Clare. Wayne\u00a0was born in Sears, on July 21, 1931, to Rufus Tory and\u00a0Mabel E. (Krider) Burson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean\u00a0War, being stationed in Munich, Germany. Wayne married E. Dawn\u00a0Bates in Osceola County on Oct. 31, 1954. He owned and operated\u00a0Burson Milk Transportation for more than 50 years and enjoyed his milk\u00a0route and the farmers. Wayne enjoyed bird watching, loved his\u00a0special dog, Missy, but especially loved spending time with his family. Wayne is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dawn Burson, of Evart; four\u00a0daughters, Kim Marie (Wayne) Cook, of Farwell, Karen (Pierre) Vernier,\u00a0of Bellvue, Neb., Kelli Shultz, of Leona, TX, and June Lampson, of Midland;\u00a0three sons, Randy Burson, of Reed City, Rick (Donna) Burson, of Reed\u00a0City, and David Burson, of Germantown, Md.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pat (Dick) McCall, of Barryton. He was\u00a0preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Virginia, Violet, Velma, and\u00a0Janet; and two brothers, Sonny and Arthur. Memorial services for Wayne Eugene Burson will be announced at a\u00a0later date.
