EVART \u2014 Sharon M. Wirick, 70, of Evart, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Wirick was born on March 1, 1946, in Niles, to Kenneth George and Dortha Marie (Carpenter) Williams. She married Edward \u201cButch\u201d Wirick in Niles on Nov. 2, 1963. Sharon and Butch moved to the Evart area from Dowagiac in 2001. Sharon was a member of Brooks Corners United Methodist Church. She loved anything family-oriented and her church and enjoyed camping and puzzles. Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward \u201cButch\u201d Wirick, of Evart; her daughter, Evelyn (Terry) Cour, of Evart; two sons, Edward Wirick Jr., of Evart, and Michael (Amy) Wirick of Hersey; four grandchildren, Brennyn, Grace, Adeline and Asa; two step-grandchildren, Terry and Jobeth; four great-grandchildren, Jeydon Michael, Elijah, Liam and Sheldon; two sisters, Dortha Shoptaw, of Niles, and Tammera Williams, of Evart; and two brothers, Kenneth (Susan) Williams, of Niles, and Dennis (Rae) Williams, of Niles. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karon Howard. Memorial services for Sharon Marie Wirick are at noon on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at The Brooks Corners United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Brian Kilpatrick and the Rev. Joe Beavan officiating. A luncheon will follow services at the church.
