REED CITY\u00a0-\u00a0Rogena M. Kingsbury, 73, of Reed City, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at her home. She was born on Dec 25, 1941, in Denver, Colo., to Jesse and Josephine (Cole) Cadle. She attended school in Flint, graduating from Flint Northern High School in 1959. Rogena married James Kingsbury on March 26, 1960. Rogena worked at Tubelite, the Big Rapids Pioneer, Ferris State University and Eagle Village. She enjoyed her family, playing piano, reading, crossword puzzles and her dog, Avi.\u00a0Rogena was a member of the Hersey Congregational Church, where she was pianist and choir accompanist, and of the Reed City Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, Jim; one daughter, Lynda (Troy) Bowling, of Wilmington, NC.; one son, Gary Kingsbury, of Clio; four grandchildren, Kati (Aaron) Mora, Craig (Mary) Bowling, Staci Bowling, and Andrew Kingsbury; two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Benjamin Mora, and one on the way; one brother, Larry Cadle; and one sister, Norma Atkinson. Funeral services took place on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Chris DeMott and Pastor Ed Raby officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
