The thought of it alone sounds heavenly, doesn't it? A Reese's peanut butter cup 9-inches in diameter \u2014 similar to a personal sized pizza \u2014 all for you or whoever you dare to share it with to enjoy. Well, it went as quickly as it came. Hershey's, which makes the treasured peanut butter cups in various sizes, made the announcement Nov. 15 that it would be making 3,000 of these giant delectable "pies" and in the blink of an eye, they were all gone. Each mega peanut butter cup was going for $44.99 plus tax, and it's probably a safe bet that more than 3,000 sweettooths were in dire need of such an item. "When you bring together friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner, no table spread is complete without dessert," Bo Jones, senior associate brand manager at Reese's, said in a press release. "At Reese's, we wanted to create a dessert that everyone wants a piece of. You can thank us later." Again, 3,000 people may be giving thanks, while millions more just might be waiting to pounce should this promotion come around at Christmas or any future holidays.
