Harold Lawton Offet, 81, of Galesburg and Ashton, MI, went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2010 with his family by his side. He proudly served in the US Army Air Corps during the Korean War. He worked for Jack\u2019s House of Floors an retired from Migala Carpet in Kalamazoo. He has also owned and managed homes and properties for over fifty years. He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Vivian Offet. His legacy will continue through his children Jeff (Cyndi) Franz of Holland, MI, Gary (Sandi) Franz of Franklin, KY, Gary Offet of Sturgis, SD, Byron (Sue) Jolly of Lansing, MI, Myron (Mary) Jolly of Union City, MI, Kim Offet of Kalamazoo, MI, Kris (Randy) Cutler of Plainwell, MI, Tom (Brenda) Jolly of Luther, MI, Konne Offet of Hastings, MI and Kathy (Doug) Thornstenson of Hersey, MI, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his step mother Rachel Offet of Corvalis, OR, his brother Rodger (Lois) Offet of Alabaster, AL and many nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents William John Offet and Arvilla Mae Walker. He will be greatly missed by all! Memorial service will be held May 14 at 1:00pm at the Ashton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery.
