EVART \u2014 O. Elaine Mishler, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at her home in Evart. She was born March 28, 1926 in Burdell Township, Osceola County to Carl Rueben Johnson and Jennie Nelson Johnson. She graduated from Plymouth High school in 1944. She was married on July 6, 1948 in Tustin to Kenneth D. Mishler who preceded her in death. She moved to Evart from Tustin in 1967 where she owned and operated Mishler\u2019s Drive-In (formerly the A & W) for 24 years. She also worked at the Kroger Store in Cadillac and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Evart. She loved watching her kid\u2019s and grandkid\u2019s sporting events and enjoyed her church and church family. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed wintering in Arizona, reading, playing cards and Yahtzee. She leaves behind three daughters, Diane McClintock, Debra (Michael) Elliott and Beth (Jim) LaTulip all of Evart; two sons, Gary (Sally) Mishler of Hessel and Steve (Debra) Mishler of Evart; one sister, Carol (Ken) Bowman of Grandville; one brother, Walter (Ethel) Johnson of California; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth on October 22, 2003; son, Greg; granddaughter, Shannon; two sisters, Delores and Charlotte and one brother, Bernard. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 24 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Evart with Rev. Janice Kelly officiating. Place of interment is at Sherman Township Cemetery, Osceola County, MI.
