HERSEY Twp. \u2014 Marjorie Claire Nevala, of Hersey Township near Evart, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, July 2, 2016. She was 64. Marjorie was born March 20, 1952 in Detroit to Charles Robinson and Catherine Ann (Henderson) Walker. She moved to the Evart area from Redford in 1986. Marjorie graduated from Evart High School and went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts Degree at Ferris State University. She enjoyed crocheting for her grandkids. Marge is survived by three daughters, Dianne Beckwith of Texas, Catherine (Kendall) Wirth of Evart,Marjorie (Kevin) Mann of Barryton, one son, Charles Cornelius of Evart, seven grandchildren, Joyce (Anson), Josh, Kaleb, Tyler (Jordyn), Preston, Claire, Christian, four great grandchildren, Catherine, Reece, Joshua Jr., Ember, and five sisters, Kitsy (John) Simonson of Big Rapids, Joyce (Larry) Koluch of Evart, Pat (Bill) Paalanen of Reed City, Karen (Bob) Elsey of Brighton, and JoAnn (Clint) Brown of Evart. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Walker, her mother Catherine Knaggs, her step father Daniel Knaggs, her sister Valerie Walker, her brother Charles Walker, her son Randy Nevala, and her grandson Patrick.
