HERSEY\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Keith E. Keggs, 56, of Hersey, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. He was born on Dec. 9, 1958, in Flint, to Lloyd and Iris (Reed) Keggs, and attended school in Evart and Reed City, graduating from Reed City High School in 1977. He also attended several automobile manufacturers' training schools. He was the owner and operator of Keith\u2019s Auto Repair in Reed City. Keith married Joann Haggerty on April 7, 1988. Surviving are his wife, Joann, of Hersey; two daughters, Jennifer Wood (Scott Gilbert), of Lansing, and Stacie Wood (Cody Jones), of Hersey; two sons, Matthew Keggs (Ally Frederick), of Hersey, and Andrew Quinn, of Reed City; two grandchildren, Christopher and Aaron Jones; father, David Jehnzen, of Reed City; four sisters, Jessica Jehnzen, of Florida, Davene (Sherman) Campbell, of Reed City, Shirley (Skip) Hampton, of Interlochen, and Helen Nichols, of Reed City; two brothers, David (Sara) Jehnzen, of Cedar Springs, and Charlie (Shelly) Keggs, of Temple; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Keith was preceded in death by his loving mother, Iris Jehnzen; paternal father, Lloyd Keggs; sister, Kathy Keggs; and brother, Eric Jehnzen. Keith was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked with the career center by providing job shadowing for students. A memorial service took place on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Richard Collin officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mecosta \u2013 Osceola Career Center.
