GLEN ARBOR - Gregory Bruce Zolman, 60, of Glen Arbor, died on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at his home. He was born in September of 1955, in Mount Clemens, the son of Gerald and Billie (Morris) Zolman.\u00a0Greg served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1977.\u00a0He was a very skilled carpenter, most recently working for Pathway Homes in Traverse City.\u00a0 Greg was the JV Girls Basketball Coach at Glen Lake High School for more than 25 years.\u00a0 He truly enjoyed helping and taking care of others. Greg is survived by his children, Timothy (Lana) Zolman, of Traverse City, Susan (Jeff) DuPont, of Ann Arbor, and Taylor Zolman, of Lake Ann; two grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail; his father, Gerald Zolman, of Evart; his siblings, Louis "Bud" Zolman, Geri Zolman, Cary (Twalli) Zolman, Jody (Deb) Zolman, Bill (Karen) Zolman and Theresa (Darrell) Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Zolman; and his step-mother, Dorothy Zolman. Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene, in Reed City, with the Rev. Chris DeMott officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home to the Zolman family to help with final expenses and to establish a college fund for Taylor Zolman. The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.
