HERSEY\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Dwane William Lowrie, 39, of Hersey, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, in Orient Township.\u00a0He was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Dwane was born on Oct. 24, 1975, in Portland, Ore., to Gerald D. and Sandra K. (Cotterman) Lowrie.\u00a0He was a lifelong Evart area resident who loved his kids and family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and\u00a0made his living as a handyman. Mr. Lowrie is survived by his girlfriend, Angela Finnerty-Hanninen, of Hersey; his daughter, Carmen\u00a0Lowrie, of Reed City; his son, Terry James Lowrie, of Mount Pleasant; step-son, Michael DeGeorge, of Paris;\u00a0a granddaughter, Isabelle Lowrie; his mother, Sandra Vanderhoef, of Nagaunee; sister, Kay (Kevin)\u00a0Ryan, of Nagaunee; brother, Terry (Alicia) Lowrie, of Sears; and his grandmother, Daisy Cotterman, of\u00a0Evart. Dwane was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Shawn Cotterman. Memorial services for Dwane William Lowrie are at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Evart Township Hall,\u00a0with Troy Blakeslee officiating.
