EVART\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Dorothy A. Zolman, 80, of Evart, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Spectrum Health Reed\u00a0City Hospital. She was born on Jan. 19, 1934, in Evart, to Peter and Gertrude (Moore) Bissett. She was a 1952\u00a0graduate of Evart High School and attended college in New York for two years. She married Gerald S.\u00a0Zolman in Reed City on June 26, 1993. Dorothy worked 35 years for Evart Products, retiring in 1992. She\u00a0attended the Church of the Nazarene in Reed City and was an avid walker who enjoyed traveling and\u00a0wintering in Florida. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Gerald S. Zolman, of Evart; two daughters, Geri Zolman, of Texas, and\u00a0Theresa (Darrell) Reed, of Reed City; five sons, Lewis Zolman, of Reed City, Carey (Twali) Zolman, of Texas,\u00a0Greg Zolman, of Traverse City, Jody (Deborah) Zolman, of Reed City, and Bill (Karen) Zolman, of Reed City; 14\u00a0grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene Sturdavant-Skates, of Big Rapids. She was\u00a0preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Doris; and brother, Darelton (Buck). Funeral services\u00a0will take place\u00a0at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the Church of the\u00a0Nazarene in Reed City.\u00a0Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart.\u00a0Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart.
