EVART\u00a0-\u00a0Dennis Charles Pion,\u00a0age 69, of Evart, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June ,17,\u00a02014, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus as a result of\u00a0accidental injuries. Denny was born on June 3, 1945, in Big\u00a0Rapids, the son of the late Helen and Charles\u00a0Pion. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna; children, Denise (Fred)\u00a0Stingle, Robert Pion; his very special grandchildren,\u00a0Dylan and Danielle Stingle, and Jason Pion, all of Grand\u00a0Rapids; one brother, Larry Pion, of Big Rapids; an aunt; and many cousins,\u00a0nieces and nephews. Denny is also survived by Edna's daughter and grandson; and\u00a0her sisters and brother, who live far away, but despite the miles, Denny always\u00a0showed his love and affection for them. He was preceded in death by his parents;\u00a0a sister, Sandra Otto; and a brother, Gary Trumble. Denny worked on various oil rigs. He\u00a0also was an owner and operator of C&D Trucking and worked for\u00a0Conseco, selling insurance until retirement.\u00a0Denny loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his\u00a0family and friends. His children and grandchildren were his pride and\u00a0joy.
