Osceola County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a Pine River school bus carrying students that crashed March 16 in Burdell Township.

At 7:52 a.m. Marcy 16, deputies responded to a single vehicle injury accident involving a Pine River School bus near 18 Mile Road and 185th Avenue, between LeRoy and Tustin, in Burdell Township, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Pine River Schools activated its response plan upon notification.
Students initially reported no injuries and were transported to Pine River High School.
However, once at the high school, some students complained of injuries or sickness from the crash, and Osceola County EMS personnel began evaluating them.
The incident is under investigation by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
