BIG RAPIDS — Manna Pantry in Big Rapids was on the receiving end of Brookside Elementary’s February Kindness Service Project.
Through the month of February, students and families collected pancake mix, syrup, and oatmeal for the clients serviced by the food pantry.
“Pancake mix and syrup is something we tend to run out of and so this collection is simply wonderful," Bonnie Clark, executive director of the pantry, said. “There are so many varieties of oatmeal now to offer our clients. We are so proud of Brookside School for including us in the Kindness Project.”
A huge thank you goes out the Brookside loading crew, who helped load all the items to be delivered to Manna Pantry, she said. And a big thank you to Annette for helping unload them in the pantry.
“Thank you, Brookside families for your support and generosity!” Clark said.
