BUFFALO, Minn. — Wild Flower Van Sickle passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014, at her residence in Buffalo, Minn.

She was born Sept. 19, 1913, as Anna Vera Mae Lind in rural Chase.

She is survived by her sole child, Keith L. Van Sickle, of Reed City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Van Sickle, as well as her parents and five siblings.

An extraordinary lifetime of global travel, art and mission work provided Wild Flower with a unique ability to connect with multi-generational and diverse individuals. Her cremated remains will rest at their final home in Woodland Cemetery in Reed City. At her request, no memorial service was held. But, in her words, she passes along a hearty, “Aloha!”
