In Osceola County, gas stations averaged a low of $3.69 and a high of $3.89 as of Wednesday, Sept. 7, showing a decrease of almost 40 cents across the board since the end of July.

According to AAA, nationally, gas prices are currently averaging $3.76 for regular unleaded, $4.20 for mid-grade, $4.50 for premium, and $5.05 for diesel. For the state of Michigan, AAA reports that the average per gallon as of Sept. 7 was 3.828, less than ten cents above the national average.
States with the lowest average include Texas ($3.23), Arkansas ($3.24), Louisiana ($3.29), Mississippi ($3.25), and Georgia ($3.31).
