Wanda Mae (Bathrick) Sebring

EVART — Wanda Mae (Bathrick) Sebring, 85, slipped peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.

Wanda was born on April 17, 1928, in Muskegon, to Emory and Elizabeth (Lemmon) Bathrick. Their family moved to Evart in 1934. She married Fay Sebring on June 29, 1947. Wanda worked at Davy & Co. for many years, then at Evart Elementary School until she retired in 1990.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth; husband, Fay; sister, Adeline Bathrick; and brother, Robert Bathrick.

Survivors include daughters, Sally (Phil) Bell and Judith (Reginald) Sebring; grandchildren, Dallas (Kim) Bell, Helen (Mark) Smith, Norma (Mark) Heagle, Mark Bell, Alyssa Moore, Alexis Moore, Alec Moore and Alia Moore; seven great-grandchildren, brother, Ronald (Rita) Bathrick, sisters- and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was at noon on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, immediately followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Evart. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
