EVART — Vivian J. Vincent, 79, of Evart passed away on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 at home. She was born June 14, 1932 in Brinkhaven, Ohio to John Lewis and Mary Ellen (Meeks) Strouse.

She was married January 14, 1949 in Greenup, KY to Junior H. Vincent who precede her in death on April 17, 2007. She moved to Evart from Ohio in 1963 where she worked at Evart Products for 17 years retiring in 1984. She loved being with her family, liked going on drives and was a faithful follower of her kids and grand kinds sporting events. She also enjoyed music and played the piano, accordion, and violin.

She leaves behind four daughters, Linda (Doug) Smaltz of Danville, IN, Penny Lloyd of Avon, IN, Heidi (Ed) Wirth of South Beloit, IL and Holly (Doug) Peters of Poplar Grove, IL; two sons, Jerry (Mary) Vincent of Woodbridge, VA and Rande (Deb) Vincent of Evart; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Elizabeth, Hazel and Virginia and a brother, Louis.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Corey Funeral Home, Evart with Rev. Dawn Pooley officiating. Place of interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Evart.
