MUSKEGON — Sandra I. Meyers, 61, of Muskegon (formerly of Evart), passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at the home of her daughter in Ravenna.
Sandra was born on May 14, 1954, in Atlanta, Ga., to Wendell S. and Virginia L. (Cornwell) Johnson. She was married to John (Jack) Meyers in 1983 in Evart and he preceded her in death in 1997. Sandra attended the Assembly of God in Evart.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Portell and Jessica (Robert) Meyers-Maleski; two sons, Jon (Corina) Johnson and Joseph (Crystal) Meyers; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Barbara Stock.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Ron Johnson.
Funeral services for Sandra Irene Meyers will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart. Visitation will be at noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
Sandra will be interred next to her husband in Sylvan Township Cemetery.
