EVART\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Ruth M. Church, 82, of Evart, passed away at her daughter\u2019s home near Hersey on Tuesday,\u00a0April 22, 2014. Ruth was born on April 14, 1932, in Flint, to Clarence Eugene and Millie\u00a0(Rappley) Parrish. She married Arnold L. Church on Nov. 22, 1950, in Big Rapids. Ruth worked for AC in Flint and was a member of the Davison Eagles, where she was\u00a0past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Ruth and Arnold moved to the Evart area in 1985\u00a0from Davison. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bowling and swimming. Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arnold Church, of Evart; three daughters, Lila\u00a0(Dale Bobo), of Otisville, Sandra (Bill) Paul, of Rodney, and Diane (Al) Ignash, of Hersey; a\u00a0son, Michael (Diane) Church, of Mecosta; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marry Warren and Alice Verdict; and\u00a0two brothers, Clarence E. Parrish Jr. and Robert Parrish. Funeral services for Ruth M. Church are at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Corey Funeral Home in Evart.\u00a0Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at the funeral home. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart.
