Robin Sue McKee

REED CITY — Robin Sue McKee, 56, of Reed City, passed away in Green Township on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

She was born in Trenton on June 22, 1957, to Robert and Elsie Lucille McKee. She attended John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, and lived downstate most of her life. She loved her family very much - daughter, Aulbrea Elsie McKee (Lockwood); grandchildren, Breana McKee, Keagan Wilbur, Zimmie Lockwood, Joshua Simko, Mark Simko, Pipa Simko; many neices and nephews; along with Aulbrea’s brothers, Richard Simko Jr. and Matthew Simko; and her family and friends very much. She found enjoyment in spending time with her grandchildren, boating, tubing, Bunko Club, barbecues with family and friends and helping others (she had a big heart). She also enjoyed her music, karaoke and was a big sports fan.

She is survived by her three brothers, Richard Rivier, of Snowflake, Ariz., Michael Rivier, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Keith McKee, of Reed City; and her three sisters, Pamela (Randall) Phillips, of Hersey, Karen (Jim) Todd, of Gladwin, and Melody Jane Julio of Belleville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McKee; mother, Elsie Lucille McKee; brothers, Daniel Rivier and Timothy J. McKee; and loving partner, Richard Simko.

The family would like to express their thanks to family and friends and Robin's Angels. We will all see her again someday. God bless her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Reed City off U.S. 10 and Wild Turkey Trail, presided by Pastor Dawson. There will be a luncheon at the VFW in Reed City behind the Wesco following the service.
