EVART — Rhea J. Jaguszewski, 78, of Big Lake, near Evart, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Curry House near Cadillac.

She was born on May 23, 1936, in Detroit, to Howard and Esther (Howard) Linenberg. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School in Detroit in 1954, and then attended Mercy College in Detroit. Rhea went on to be a reservation supervisor for United Airlines. She spent many years summering at Big Lake and finally retired there. Rhea was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart. She was an excellent painter and artist, an active swimmer, and enjoyed flower gardening and playing the dulcimer.

Rhea is survived by one daughter, Linda Brown, of Reed City; three grandchildren, Cody (Angela) Brown, of Cedar Springs, Caitlin Brown, of Belding, and Cory Comer, of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Irene (David) Lindgren, of Livonia; and a brother, Roy (Sue) Linenberg, of Sears.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and son, Erik Comer.

Funeral services for Rhea are at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Evart, with Father Joe Fix officiating. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart, and an hour prior to services at the church. She will be interred next to her husband in Orient Township Cemetery.
