BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Phyllis Lorraine Mund, 73, of Boynton Beach, Fla., (formerly of Reed City) went home to her Lord and Savior on Feb. 6, 2012.

She was born June 8, 1938, to Lewis Willard (Bill) and Rev. Viola (Stevens) Rehkopf. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and a daughter. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Alvin; son, Alvin II (Jackie); two sisters, SaraLee Rehkopf (friend, John) and Blanche (LaVail) Erickson; brothers, Glen (Pearl) Rehkopf and Roger Rehkopf; two grandsons, Christopher and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

An avid golfer with an awesome drive, Phyllis was “2010 Ace of the Year” at the Atlantis Country Club. She worked in the Pro Shop at the Lakeworth Golf Course” for 10 years, where she was captain of the Ladies Golf League for many years. She also was captain of the Palm Beach Country Ladies Inter-club Golf Association. Within a few short months after she was diagnosed with A.L.S., she sadly had to give up her beloved game of golf.

Cremation was handled by Boynton Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Phyllis requested donations in her name be made to: A.L. S. Association Chapter Fla. 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL 33619.
