Paula K. Bergey

MARION — Paula Bergey, 52, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016.

She was born on June 10, 1964, in Reed City. She married David Bergey on Aug. 19, 1995. Paula was a member of the Marion Eagles F.O.E. 4087, the Middle Branch A’s Car Club and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW. She enjoyed singing with her family and supporting her husband with his passion for the Figure 8 Demolition Derby.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Bergey; sons, Dan Kelly, David Kelly and Dusty Kelly, and stepson, Zack Pifer, and their significant others; and nine grandchildren. She also is survived by her mother, Jeannette Holman; sisters, Tonya Burgess, Donna (Rick) Burson and Becky Herrington; brothers, Ed (Opal) Melvin and Jerry (Amber) Melvin; 12 nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and -nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Harold E. Melvin, Sr.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home in Marion. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, with visitation one hour prior, at 10 a.m. also at Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Middle Branch Township Cemetery on 14 Mile Road.

The family is being served by the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home.
