Osceola County to discuss budget, health care at July 19 meeting

OSCEOLA — The Osceola County Board of Commissioners and Committee of the Whole will meet Tuesday morning to discuss new and old business.

The Committee of the Whole will discuss Circuit Court staffing, and two amendments from Committee on Aging Director Justin Halladay.

EMS Director Steve Young will also give his report, including two job descriptions for Mentor and Station Coordinator. Sheriff Mark Cool will present three items, including a Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority RAP Grant for Security Stun Belt.

Additionally, Tim Ladd will give an update on County 2023 Budget Process.

Notable items on the agenda for the Board of Commissioners agenda include the county healthcare benefits, an intergovernmental agreement grant with West Michigan Regional Medical Control, a Child & Parent Legal Representation grant, and clerk staffing.

The last item on the Board of Commissioners agenda is a motion to approve the Governmental Employees Labor Council Union Contract.
