Steven Jack Huss LEROY \u2013 Steven Jack Huss, 43, of LeRoy, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on Oct. 27, 1967, in Reed City, the son of Lawrence and Nancy (Gillespie) Huss. He attended Reed City High School. Steven married Isabella Waltraud Ochs on Oct. 22, 1994, at the United Methodist Church in LeRoy. He had been a grounds specialist at Ferris State University for 22 years, retiring due to illness. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, enjoyed football and hockey and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Isabella Huss, and daughter, Ashely Huss, both of LeRoy; his parents, Lawrence and Nancy Huss of Tustin; and three brothers and their families, Ray (Sharon) Huss of Tustin and children, Dusty and Brandy, Bill (Chris) Huss of Reed City and son, Nathan Huss, and Mike (Leslie) Huss of Hersey and children, Brandon, Aaron, Chad, Zach and Heather. Memorial services for Steven Jack Huss will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 22275 4 Mile Road in Reed City, with Pastor Dawn Pooley officiating. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Amyloidosis, payable to Isabella Huss, to be given for Amyloid Research and to assist other Amyloid patients through the Amyloidosis Foundation. The family has entrusted the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Ludington with funeral arrangements.
