AILEEN JAYNE BROWN BIG RAPIDS \u2014 Aileen Jayne Brown, 27, of Big Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at her residence. She was born on July 14, 1983, in Big Rapids to Bruce C. Brown and Wendy (Nettleton) Brown who survive. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 2001 graduate of Reed City High School where she played trumpet in the school\u2019s marching band and jazz band. Aileen was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She loved horses and was a member of 4-H. She is survived by her 6-year-old son, and light of her life, Elijah Bruce Brown; her parents, Bruce and Wendy Brown of Reed City; brothers, Bruce Michael (Janet) Brown of Gladwin and Collin R. Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Coleen (Marc) Bergeron of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Ruth Ann (William) Leonard of Diamond Head, Miss., and Stephanie (William) McKinney of Reed City; companion, Luke Omillion of Big Rapids; aunt, Tish Anderson of Gladwin; uncle, Brandon (Donna) Brown of St. Joseph; grandparents, George and Patricia Nettleton of Gladwin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jonathan Brown and Justin Brown; aunt, Deb Hanover; and paternal grandparents, Brandon and Betty Brown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City, with the Rev. Dawn Pooley officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Reed City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elijah B. Brown education fund, and envelopes will be available at the St. Paul Lutheran Church where friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011.
