REED CITY — Neva Bell (Line-Pelch) Gerhart, 96, of Reed City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Northwoods Nursing Center in Farwell.

She was born Sept. 14, 1915 in Evart to Clyde Line and Emma Pichan and lived in the Reed City-Evart area all of her life. She was employed for many years at Marion Riverside Electric Co. and was a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Reed City. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Norm (Carole) Pelch, of Farwell, Roland Gerhart, of Ludington; daughters Norma (Theron) Bergey, of Chase, Nancy (Hector) Couture, of Reed City, Noreen (Dan) Gerhart, of Farwell; sisters Helen J. Graber, of Lake, Delores (Joe) Brackett, of Evart, Lila Ryan of Sault St. Marie; brothers Jerry Line, of Texas, Buck (Edith) Line of Sault St. Marie; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Emma Line; stepmother Aileen Line; husband Orval Pelch; husband Dewey Gerhart Jr.; brother William Line; and her infant son.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City, with Rev. Ron Mills officiating. Burial will be at Pinora Township Cemetery.
