Nancy Lee Rueffer, of Evart, died Sunday February 10, 2013 at Cadillac Mercy Hospital. She was 65.

Mrs. Rueffer was born December 19, 1947, in Denver, Colorado, to Emmett Wyatt and Eva Lockman Wyatt. She married Douglas A. Rueffer on January 19, 1967, in Ft. Waldon Beach, Florida.

She was an Evart resident since 1971. Nancy was a 1986 graduate of Evart High School. She worked at Spring Hill Camp and Reed City Hospital in food service and was the owner and operator of the Craft Connection in Evart.

Nancy and her husband, Doug, were foster parents for many years. She enjoyed bowling and arts and crafts.

Her husband, Douglas A. Rueffer of Evart; six sons, Thrace Rueffer of Traverse City, Shane Rueffer of Kalamazoo, Doug (Dawn) Rueffer of Hersey, Matthew (Jaime) Rueffer of Kalamazoo, Aaron Rueffer of Evart, Joshua Rueffer, of Evart; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Jo (Dale) Garrett of Holy Oak, Colorado.

Her parents, three sisters, Bonnie, Shirley and Mary, and two brothers, Butch and Dick preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Nancy Lee Rueffer are 1 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart with Pastor Ryan Beilfuss officiating.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, at the funeral home.

Internment will be in the Osceola Township Cemetery.
