REED CITY — For people in the Reed City area looking to join the workforce, Michigan Works! West Central is holding a hiring party Friday, July 15, with free food and the chance to speak to representatives from over a dozen local employers.
The event will be a block-party style event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Michigan Works! Reed City service center, 240 E. Church Ave.
The event will have free hot dogs and other snacks available.
Employers who will be present at the event include Wesco, Ebels, Subway, Ventra, Papa's Place Adult Day Care and Spectrum Health, among several others.
