GRAND RAPIDS — Maxine A. Wooster, 93, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max A. Wooster, in 1981.

She will be lovingly missed by her only daughter and son-in-law, Marianne (Michael) Franz; her step-grandchildren, Renae (Ed) Moomjian, and Sean Franz; her step-great-grandchildren, Helena and Armen Moomjian, all of Tucson, Ariz. She also is survived by her special family, Robert and Gabriele Franz; step-grandchildren, Geoff (Chris) Franz and Laura (Aaron) Pretzer; and step-great-grandchildren, Rylee Brown, Braydon, Jaxon and Samantha Franz. She also will be sadly missed by a very special couple, Tony (Tammy) Rocha, of Modesta, Calif.; many longtime friends; and her guardian angel, Mickey, the family dog.

She worked at Continental Identification in Sparta for 23 years. Maxine loved travel, cooking, gardening and family times. She was a faithful servant of the Lord.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2600 E. Fulton, in Grand Rapids, with visitation at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Reed City at a later date.
