EVART — Marie Dillon Mauck Seath was welcomed into the presence of her heavenly father on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
Marie was born on Jan. 31, 1943, in Grand Rapids. She graduated from Evart High School in 1960 and received her master's degree from Cambridge College in 1990. Marie married Dick Seath in 1961. To this union were born two daughters.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Dixie Dillon Hainley, of Big Rapids, and Vicki Sue (Craig) Hillstead, of Plainwell; four grandchildren, Lyndsie Dillon Hainley, Christopher Hainley, Alicia Marie Hillstead, and CJ Hillstead; and four great-grandsons. Marie also is survived by one sister, Laane (Jeff) Hocquard, of Hersey; one brother, Lynn Mauck, of Summerland Key, Fla.; one niece, Nicki Ondrus, of Hersey; one nephew, TJ Hocquard, of Hersey; one maternal cousin, Mary Ann (Bob) Dake, of Evart; and several paternal cousins.
Marie’s family brought her the greatest happiness. Marie was preceded in death by her father, Claude W. Dillon; mother, Mary Ella Crawford; three infant siblings, Mary Jane Dillon, Glenn Dillon, and William Mauck; and son-in-law, Mike Hainley.
