Maria Magdalena Pylman, of Sears, died Thursday April 4, 2013, at the home of her daughter near Howell. She was 83.

Mrs. Pylman was born July 22, 1929, in San Antonio, Texas to Pedro and Herminia (Martinez) Salinas.

She moved to the Sears area from Texas when she was 10 years old. She was a 1948 graduate of Evart High School.

She married Richard Allen Pylman in Sears January 25, 1958 and he preceded her in death February 15, 2013.

Mrs. Pylman was a founding member of the Sears Church of God and was a Sunday School teacher most of her life.

She was a homemaker and worked part-time at the Osceola County Home. She enjoyed quilting and taking family vacations and especially loved just being with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Greg) Keating of Howell; son, Michael (Dana) Pylman of LeRoy; three grandsons, Michael (Shannon) Pylman of LeRoy, Joseph (Katie) Pylman of Reed City, Nicolas (Lyndsey) Pylman of LeRoy; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Elida Conner of Corunna, and Lupe Morgan of Evart; five brothers, Al (Betty) Salinas of Evart, Pete Salinas of Sears, Rudy (Faye) Salinas of Sears, Roy Salinas of Grand Rapids, and Andy (Doris) Salinas of Marion; and many nieces and nephews survive her.

Her parents, husband Richard, and two brothers, Horace and Romeo Salinas, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Maria M. Pylman were Monday, April 8, at the Sears Church of God with Pastor Dick Latham officiating.

Internment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Evart.
