Luana Wible

REED CITY — Luana Ione (Williams) Wible went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1949, in Reed City to Ray and Marian (Prosch) Williams, both who preceded her in death. She attended Pine River Schools, graduating in 1967. She was reunited with her one true love of 43 years, Edward Wible, who preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2011.

Together they had two daughters, Tabbie (John) Howell, and Sheri Dailey (Bob Leusby); six grandchildren, Tyler (Kristal) Wible, Heidi (Nick) Reid, Seth Finney (Alisa Selty), Spencer Semeyn (Allison Cass), Martin Dailey and Olivia Howell. She was also blessed by five great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Lillian, Connor, Brantly and Naeven.

Luana loved sharing stories of living on the farm with her siblings, Mike (Sonia) Williams, Ron (Carol) Williams, Laurie (Mallory) Russell and Angie (Robert) Dean. Two sisters, Arlice and Janice also preceded her in death. She had several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that will miss her dearly.

She enjoyed her retirement from PPG, where she worked for 17 years. Before that, she worked several years at the glove plant. She spent her last few years camping and fishing with her family. She also enjoyed going for coffee every Tuesday with her friends from the glass plant until she could no longer go on her own.

Luana was the happiest when she was able to spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Her funeral was held on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at McDowell Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Miller officiating. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery, in LeRoy.
